Poly Aluminium Chloride or Aluminium chlorohydrate is a series of salts having the general formula (Aln(OH)mCl3m-n)x. Industrially, Poly Aluminium Chloride is manufactured by the reaction of Aluminium with hydrochloric acid. This product is popular as an inorganic polymer and is quite difficult to determine structurally.

Ease of application. Coagulates very effectively in low as well as high turbidity water. Rapid and better floc formations as compared to alum. Less reduction of pH compared to alum.
